About: I'm an Experience Planner at Bridge Worldwide in Cincinnati, OH.
I transitioned to user experience work from technical writing. Documenting software didn't make as much sense as just designing it so it was easier to use. Although these days I do all my work on the web.
My dad is a psychologist and my mom is a librarian, so I suspect that it's at least partially genetics that draws me to UX and IA work.
Aside from my work, I enjoy
- reading (especially essays)
- music (right now, Snow Patrol),
- playing with my dog (a border collie mix)
- fixing up my house
