About: My career path recently took a left turn at IA. I was raised by a game QA lead, have a BS in CS and spent years as a web programmer and database designer before someone noticed I was really good at organizing bits and people and offered me a job involving information architecture. That was about a month and a half ago. Now I'm learning the ropes on a sprawling university/healthcare/research/non-profit website
Beyond expanding my work skills this is my first trip to Miami and I love to snorkel. Rumor has it the IA community is also full of knitters and I will be easily spotted working on a very simple scarf patterned off the Fibonacci sequence.
