K. Shuyler
About: I called myself an "information architect" in 1999 when two friends and I founded a web design company. I don't know where exactly I got the term from, and I sure as heck didn't know what I was doing.
Now a science & engineering librarian, I'm no longer focused on IA/UX stuff. However, I love learning about it and need to learn more so I can help re-design our library's web site in the next few months.
I help run InfoCamp Seattle, a collaborative unconference open to all professionals and students interested in user-centered information and design issues.
