About: I'll graduate with an MLIS degree from the iSchool at the University of Washington in the summer. I'm looking to start a new career as an IA, or something related.

In a previous life, I was a software engineer for about 8 years focusing on embedded stuff (Windows CE, mostly), and identity verification tools. I enjoyed solving problems and designing solutions, but the actual coding part was never much fun. I'd rather play a game, or design one, rather than code one!

It turns out I've always liked organizing information, and maintained a mysterious connection with libraries. (My first volunteer experience and first job were at a library, and that's partly what prompted me to get this degree.) If you're bored and looking for something to Google, pair my name with "aehowto", "mame", or "origami". That's all me.

My interest in playing and collecting German/European boardgames has been going on for about 10 years. More recently, some would say I have become obsessed with TiddlyWiki.

I like gadgets.

Glad to meet another Kiaser geek. ;-)

Hi Michael,

I'd love to meet up with you in Miami and hear what you're up to. Let's see if we can find some coffee/lunch/drink time to get together.
