Joseph Busch

About: I'm a librarian who's been working with text and visual digital content since the 1980's. I worked for the Getty Trust for 10 years on pre-web taxonomy and multimedia projects including the Art & Architecture Thesaurus. I left the Getty to be a principal at the start-up Metacode that was sold to Interwoven in 2001. Later I founded a company that focuses on implementing metadata- and taxonomies-driven websites and applications.

Pretty easy to edit answers. But does anyone know how to add them (if you didn't fill them in when you first registered)?

John Ryan:

Thanks Joe. Note to self; look for Steven Spielberg's long lost brother. (smiling)

John Ryan:

Hehe...ah yes, I meant "steal". Ok.

John Ryan:

Joeseph, I read your profile and was wondering if I could meet up with you at the conference. Would love it if I could steel some of your time to talk about taxonomies / metadata implementations with web applications.

Joseph Busch:

It's my souvenir from Las Vegas. Thanks.

James Robertson:

Great photo! ;-)
